How posting works
This is the real conversation, replayed. The buttons work.
- You connect the social accounts you own (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) with the
/connectcommand. Sign-in happens on the platform's own page; ClipBot only receives a token to upload on your behalf. - For every clip, you review the preview and press Approve, Redo or Reject. Nothing is ever posted without your approval of that specific video. Instead of posting straight away you can press Schedule and name a time; the approved video is then posted at that time, and you can cancel it until then.
- Approved videos are uploaded to the accounts you switched on, with the title and caption shown in the preview.

What ClipBot needs from each platform
As little as possible.
YouTube
YouTube – permission to upload videos to your channel (youtube.upload). It is
used only to publish the videos you approve; ClipBot never reads your channel data or other videos.
TikTok
TikTok – permission to post videos (or send them to your drafts) on your account.
Instagram – permission to publish Reels on your professional account.
Disconnect any platform at any time with /disconnect, or delete everything with /forgetme.

Good to know
Will it ever post without asking me?
No. Every video comes to you as a preview first. It is posted only after you press Approve (or Schedule, which is an approval for a time you choose) on that specific video.
Which clips can I send?
Links from Twitch, TikTok, X, Kick, Streamable, Medal, Instagram, Facebook Reels, Google Drive and Dropbox, or a video file - in a Discord message, or through your upload page for big files. Videos can be up to 3 minutes. YouTube links can't be downloaded; send the file instead.
What if I don't like the edit?
Press Redo and say what you want, in your own words. You can change the moment, the title, the colours, the caption size and position, cut out pauses, add on-screen text and more. You get four redos per clip.
Can I get zooms and sound effects?
Yes, when you want them. Every preview is the standard edit; if the editor found moments for effects, an Enhanced version button shows the same edit with punch-in zooms, shakes, glitches, broken glass and sound effects, and Standard version switches back. You approve the one you like - switching does not use up a redo. With /style you can make the enhanced version stronger, see it first, or never be offered one.
What is the ClipScore?
Every preview comes with a score from 0 to 100 and a one-line verdict: how likely a stranger is to watch the short to the end and share it, judged on its hook, payoff, pacing and clarity - plus up to three ideas you can try with one press. It is an honest estimate from what is in the clip, not a promise of views; nobody can promise those.
Can I send a whole stream instead of a clip?
That is what premium is for, and it is being tested with a few members now: send a recording of up to an hour (a link, or a file through your upload page) and the bot listens to all of it, picks the moments that work as shorts, and sends each one as its own preview. Everything else stays the same - you approve, schedule, redo or reject every clip separately.
What does it need from my accounts?
Only permission to upload. For YouTube that is the single youtube.upload permission; the bot never reads your channel or other videos. You can disconnect at any time with /disconnect.
How do I get access?
The service is in an invite-only beta. If you have been invited, message Romani, our Discord bot, and send your first clip. If you were given an invite link, open it: it shows how to add Romani in Discord and the code to send it.
How do I delete my data?
Use /forgetme in Discord to delete everything - your profile, tokens, videos and your website account - or /disconnect for a single platform. Your website login alone can be deleted under Account on your dashboard. Clips are deleted automatically about a week after a job ends.
Can I use it from the website instead of Discord?
Yes. Your dashboard does what the Discord buttons do: paste a clip link or upload a file, watch the finished edit, then approve, schedule, redo or reject it, connect your platforms and change your settings. Previews still arrive in Discord as well - decide in either place, it counts once. You do need to be invited on Discord first; that is how we know whose dashboard it is.
Do I need an account on this website?
No. The bot works entirely in Discord, and /dashboard opens your dashboard without a password. An account just lets you sign in here with an e-mail address and a password, from any device. Marketing e-mails are a separate, optional tick box.

Romani Clip Bot uses YouTube API Services to upload the videos you approve to your YouTube channel. By using
this feature you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's
handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
You can revoke Romani Clip Bot's access at any time from your
Google security settings, or with
/disconnect in Discord.
